The course, Communicate with Power, was time well spent. Dr. Mason’s approach to crafting communications and maintaining the integrity and uniqueness of the individual in the context of the message is very empowering. She gave excellent recommendations on specific examples and the class was structured in a way that allowed us to learn from each other. She connected well with the attendees and went far beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.

This was such a powerful course, and what I most appreciated was the pre-session videos which helped me prepare for each session and Kate's willingness to discuss relevant scenarios relatable to the content. It personalized the experience without feeling like it took away from the primary message. Kate provided resources to help me use my voice to be heard without being louder (which we know is ineffective). She taught calm, controlled expression that I continue to leverage every day!

Kate's course is a must-do primer for anyone (any woman!) looking to communicate more effectively and influence in ways that cultivate positive workplace relationships and preserve her truest sense of self. The content was grounded in research while packaged in a way that was accessible (crystal clear take-aways, easy to recall frameworks) and also linked to actionable and practical tools/techniques. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who gets in their own way (or for those seeking to unearth the ways they get in their own way :) and are want to make a meaningful shift in how they show up as leaders in the world.

Even though we are gifted with the power of speech it's really quite surprising that communicating effectively is something most of us aren't very good at. It's part of our daily lives so whether it's for home, community or work communication skills are a must have!

Kate has an excellent style, she shares plenty of examples and really helps to provoke thought and inspires you to test out new behaviors but also manage your mindset!
